IF YOU'RE GOING TO LOUNGE, DO IT IN STYLE.
To my knowledge, I've never purchased a pair of sweatpants in my life. Yes, I have t-shirts and shorts for painting or cleaning (or days I don't even have the energy to blink, let alone get dressed) and of course workout clothes, but many times I wear sweaters or comfy dresses I like to double as lounge wear. Cost efficient? I think, yes! I wore this sweater to work this week...the same sweater I cuddle up and watch movies in. It's too fun not to wear in public! I call it my "Space Suit Sweater" because, let's face it, it's abnormally shiny and silver, but it's my favorite!
The outside of the sweater has a silver coating but the inside is a soft, lighter weight wool blend (it's from H&M, let's be real).
Max likes to lounge, too. He's part of my motivation to lounge in something I wouldn't mind wearing outside. When it's time to take him outside, it so much easier to get up and go rather than having to change first--huge sweaters hide everything!
Underneath my space suit I have on a basic heathered cotton tank dress with a fun, sheer mesh insert at the top. The dress is lightweight and super comfy. I don't like feeling restricted by clothing when I'm at home so I always opt for something light, breathable and comfortable--usually a dress of some sort or loose shorts but I'm not a big fan of pants in general unless it's a loose fit or stretchy fabric.
Beam me up, Scotty!
